CoVision is a service provided by Helix Business Services Limited (company number 11081049).("we", "us", or "our"). This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and the choices available to you. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage where needed to operate the platform.

How we use cookies

CoVision uses the following categories of cookies and storage:

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site and platform to function. They cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as signing in or joining a workshop.

Authentication session cookies — set by Supabase when organisation users sign in with a magic link, to keep you logged in securely.
Cookie consent preference — remembers whether you have accepted this notice so we do not show it on every visit.
Participant fingerprint (local storage) — a random identifier stored in your browser when you join a workshop as a participant, used to prevent duplicate submissions and maintain your session. This is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Functional

These support optional product features and interface preferences, such as remembering that you dismissed an onboarding panel. They are not used for marketing.

Analytics and monitoring

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (for example, which pages are viewed and how users navigate the site). Google Analytics may set cookies and collect usage data under Google's privacy policy. We may also use Sentry for client- and server-side error monitoring to improve reliability and security. Where enabled, Sentry may store identifiers in cookies or local storage to correlate errors. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking pixels on CoVision.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by service providers that help us run CoVision:

Supabase — authentication and session management
Stripe — payment processing when you purchase workshop credits (typically during checkout on Stripe-hosted pages)
Google Analytics — website usage analytics where you have accepted cookies
Sentry — error and performance monitoring where configured

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We choose processors with appropriate safeguards.

Your choices

When you first visit CoVision, we ask you to accept cookies via the banner at the bottom of the page. You can also control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or participating in workshops.
